Identification of BCS binding specificity by spectrophotometer. Absorbance spectrum (350–650 nm) measurements under optimized reaction conditions (50 mM Tris–HCl pH 7.4, 200 μM BCS, 1 mM ascorbate) of BCS binding with Cu+ (A), Cd2+ (B), Cr3+ (C), Hg2+ (D), Ni2+ (E) and Pb2+ (F) by spectrophotometer.
