  1. The identified plants are grouped by taxonomic relationship, and the number of uniquely observed OTUs of each taxonomic group per sample is indicated. Classification of the identified plants were generally limited to the family level, or even above, in order to minimise the chance of reporting false positive identifications from short sequences.
