From: On the local warming potential of urban rooftop photovoltaic solar panels in cities

Cross-sectional profile of PVSPs impacts on sea breeze during peak hour (14:00 LT) over Sydney from east (sea breeze) to west (inland): (a) cool roofs (b) PVSPs 25%, (c) PVSPs 50%, (d) PVSPs 75%, and (e) PVSPs 100%, (f) vertical cross section showing the specific humidity difference between the PVSPs 100% and cool roofs simulations. The vertical gradient of specific humidity determines the static stability of the lower atmosphere. During high solar, the convective boundary layer developed the very fastest way and progressively increases with the implementation of PVSPs.
