Immunofluorescent staining of CD38 (red) and cytokeratin (yellow) revealed that CD38 expression was predominately detected in the fibrovascular stroma and was statistically-significantly reduced in the IRX4647 and anti-PD-L1 treatment groups. Even greater repression occurred in the combined treatment group. The representative images are displayed in panel (a); quantification appears in panel (b). (c) Higher magnifications of representative images are presented that depict CD38 (red) and cytokeratin (yellow) signals in the different treatment groups.
