From: Age-related reductions in arousal-enhanced memory are moderated by trait emotion regulation
Age × suppression interaction on arousal-related memory benefit. This simple slopes plot shows the arousal-related memory benefit in function of age and suppression. This interaction shows that while age was associated with reduced arousal-related memory benefits for negative stimuli, the reduction was most pronounced in those with greater usage of habitual suppression.
