From: Multi-directional neutron dark-field imaging with single absorption grating

Direct transmission contrast radiographs of the single absorption gratings. Line, hexagonal and omnidirectional patterns are shown, as well as 90\(^\circ\) rotations of the line and hexagonal patterns. The 2D Fourier transform images respective to the patterns exhibit their first harmonic peak in the central pixel and second harmonic peaks radially distributed in number and angles depending on the structure of the pattern. The scattering direction sensitivity resulting from the patterns is shown in the last row.
