Observed mean (± SE) number of adult bees estimated from colonies of three queen stocks (i.e., BC, HI, and NZ) located at three experimental apiary sites (i.e., North, South BK, and South RS) in Alberta, Canada in 2017 and 2018 using a photo ladder17. Different letters among queen stocks across apiary site indicate significant differences p < 0.05 (Table S17). p values were adjusted for Type I error using the Bonferroni method.
