Detection and persistence of lectin targets on keratinocyte cells indoors and outdoors for up to 2 months. Keratinocyte cells on glass slides were placed for up to 2 months indoors and outdoors. Cells were incubated in the presence of Con A, PNA, SNA, and UEA lectins (Orange) that recognize specific carbohydrate patterns (Table 2). In parallel, nuclear DNA was stained with Hoechst 33342 (Blue). The image acquisitions are representative data from three independent experiments. Scale bar: 10 µm.
