Myograph analyses of STBEV exposed mounted human arterial vessels. Human arterial vessels mounted in a myograph and incubated with normal or PE STBEVs. (A) Contractility response to normal or PE STBEVs at cumulative concentrations of Angiotensin II, and with or without the addition of chlorpromazine. In insert, non-parametric Wilcoxon’s matched-pairs signed-ranks test was used to compare differences in responses as AUC. (B) Contractility response to normal or PE STBEVs at increasing concentrations of Endothelin-1, and with or without the addition of chlorpromazine. In insert, non-parametric Wilcoxon’s matched-pairs signed-ranks test was used to compare differences in responses as AUC. Data is presented as mean ± SEM for each data point. *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01. AUC = area under curve; PE = preeclampsia; Vehicle = buffer without STBEVs.
