Dot plot of abundance values for long chain FA (C16 and C18)- and very long chain FA (C22 and C24)-containing sphingolipid species in WT (n = 5) and CerS2 null (n = 5) mice, obtained using the developed Q-RAI DIA workflow. Confirming what was previously reported, very long chain ceramides (a), hexosylceramides (b) and sphingomyelins (c) were significantly decreased in CerS2 null mice, while long chain species in the same lipid classes were significantly increased in CerS2 null mice (FC > 2, FDR < 0.05).
