Probability of extinction for each clonotype in the four scenarios for the hard and soft niche cases (for clonotype 1) as a function of the initial number of cells in clonotype 1 for \(\varphi =1,10^2\) (top and bottom row, respectively). The probabilities were calculated using the method described in Appendix H in the Supplementary Material. The initial number of cells in the other two clonotypes is the same as in Fig. 5, namely \((n_{2}, n_{3})=(8,8)\).
