Cyan and purple represent populations in novel and ancestral environments, respectively. Projected phenotypic values of 0 and 1 correspond to perfectly fit phenotypes in ancestral and novel environments, respectively. Projected genotypic values of 0 and 1 correspond to the population average genome at first and 200th generations, respectively.
