In MCS patient n°24 while the event-related pupil response was undistinguishable between local standard (green curves) and local deviant (red curves) trials, a global effect was observed: a significant sustained (black horizontal segment) pupil dilation was observed in response to global deviant trials. Grey dotted lines index first sound onset and fifth sound offset respectively. This patient regained consciousness 6 months later.
