The AKT pathway contributes to POSTN regulation in the cancer microenvironment. (A) HEYA8 spheroid formation is disrupted under CMCTL and CMPOSTNhigh conditions when cells are treated with AKT inhibitor MK-2206, with more substantial disruption when the cells are cultured in CMPOSTNhigh. (B) AKT activation after treatment with AKT inhibitor MK-2206 is increased in HEYA8 cells cultured with CMPOSTNhigh compared to HEYA8 cells cultured with CMCTL.
