ESRD outpatients receiving regular in-center HD, three times a week, 4 h a per session, at the Chi-Mei Medical Center, were screened using inclusion and exclusion criteria. Totally 444 patients were enrolled for final analysis. Individuals were divided into 5 groups according to Mg × K production.
