From: Myeloid deletion of talin-1 reduces mucosal macrophages and protects mice from colonic inflammation
Loss of talin-1 in myeloid cells protects mice from C. rodentium-induced injury. Tln1fl/fl and Tln1Δmye male littermates were orally inoculated with 5 × 108 CFU of C. rodentium by gavage and observed for 14 days. n = 7 uninfected mice and n = 13–16 infected mice per genotype.
