Age-stratified number of vitrectomy and scleral buckling. The peak of vitrectomy shifted from the 60–69-year age group to the 70–79-year age group for 7 years. The number of scleral buckling is decreased in most age groups for 7 years; in particular, the decreases are greater in the 40–49-, 50–59-, and 60–69-year age groups than in the younger age groups.
