(B) Hippocampal IGF-1 protein expression was evaluated via western blot at baseline and at 24, 48, and 72 h following surgery. (C–F) The impact of oral EA treatment on hippocampal IGF-1 and p-IGF1R levels in aged mice was assessed. The protein levels of IGF-1 and IGF1R were normalized to β-actin, and the levels of p-IGF1R were normalized to total IGF1R. The data are presented as mean ± SD.
