The mRNA expression of ALDH2, ADH1B, ALDH3A2, DPT, EPHX2, and GATM was measured in melanoma cells (A375/SK-MEL-2 cells) and human normal melanin cell line (PIG1 cells) by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR), **P < 0.01, ***P < 0.001 versus PIG1 cells.
