The orientation of aragonite a-, b-, c-axes in a sclerite of D. sarsii. For the other investigated Solenogastres species we find similar aragonite axes orientations, relative to the morphological, long axis of the sclerite. Aragonite c-axis is parallel, while aragonite a-axis and b-axis are within the diameter of the sclerite.
