  1. ICAS was diagnosed by differentiation between the absence of detectable stenosis and the presence of stenosis.
  2. Values are presented as mean ± SD for continuous variables with approximately normally distribution or by median (Q1–Q3) with skewed distribution and n (%) for categorical variables. Differences in characteristics were evaluated by using the Student’s t-test, Wilcoxon rank sums test, or Chi squared test.
