Sensor Setup. (a) Shimmer sensor secured to the participant’s wrist with elastic wristbands. (b) Shimmer Sensor Axes. Data was collected in the X, Y, Z, Roll, Pitch, and Yaw axes which were defined as shown. Physiologically these axes translate to elbow medial/lateral rotation, elbow flexion/extension, shoulder flexion/extension, elbow pronation/supination, wrist flexion-extension, and wrist adduction/abduction.
