SOX6 represses LIN28B and blocks proliferation in neuroblastoma SH-SY5Y and hepatoblastoma HepG2 cells. The same analysis as in Fig. 3 was carried out in two non- hematopoietic cancer cells whose growth is sustained by LIN28B. SOX6: cells transduced with the SOX6 overexpressing vector; Empty Vector (EV): cells transduced with the corresponding empty vector. (a) mRNA fold reduction calculated on the mean values: SH-SY5Y ≈59% p < 0.0001, HepG2 ≈99.7% p < 0.0001.
