Expression analyses of viruses of G. platifrons in nine different individuals. mRNA data were obtained from the transcriptome of gill tissues for the generation of heatmaps. The color scale in the heatmap indicates expression values; blue color indicates low transcript abundance, and red color indicates high transcript abundance. The red circles represent viral structural genes, and green triangles represent integrase and restriction endonuclease genes. The highlighted squares represent highly expressed genes.
