The spatial proximity score estimates potential bystander activity. The model takes into account the spatial location of the tumor cells as well as their human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) expression in terms of optical density (OD) and computes the number of tumor cells that are likely to be killed as a result of diffusion of the antibody-drug conjugate payload subsequent to linker cleavage post internalization. Note that this model does not measure the bystander activity of the ADC itself. IHC immunohistochemistry.
