Over-expression of NRAS abated DHA-mediated suppression of proliferation in lung cancer cells. A549 and LLC were transfected by NRAS plasmid first, and then incubated with DHA (60 μg/ml). (A) The images of cell proliferation were captured using microscopy. (B–C) The expression of Ki67 and PCNA, which are indicators of proliferation, was enhanced in the presence of NRAS plasmid and DHA. The expression of CDK4, and cdc25a was up-regulated by when co-addition of NRAS plasmid and DHA. (D–K) The mean gray of bands was quantitatively analyzed and presented. Values were means ± SD (n = 3, *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01, ***p < 0.001, ****p < 0.0001).
