(A) Depth plot of radiocarbon ages of charcoal samples collected from the Chenga trench exposures. The hanging wall's blue dots override the footwall's black dots, indicating their emplacement due to thrusting. A broad greenish-brown stripe is the probable age range of earthquake occurrence. (B) A single rupture event hypothesis at all sites between 1313 and 395 BCE is marked in DSH based on the age correlation from trench investigation at Chenga, terrace abandonment of Manjha Khola River and Neora River3.
