  1. Here we provide the regression statistics obtained in the first stage of the analysis, to remove variation in \(R_t\) unrelated to climate. More variation in \(R_t\) can be explained by these non-climate factors for sequential variant sweep (higher model \(r^2\) for Omicron than Delta, which is higher than Alpha).
