Verifying the localization of identified proteins within spores using green fluorescent protein (GFP)-fusion constructs. Four GFP fusion constructs (FtsH-GFP, YvaB-GFP, SodF-GFP, and YrkC-GFP) were generated, and their localization in spores was observed under a phase contrast microscope with fluorescence attachments.
