Comparable cytotoxic effect exhibited by MH and pMH on murine B16.F10 melanoma (A, B), CT26 colorectal (C, D) and MC38 colorectal adenocarcinoma (E, F) cell lines. Cells were cultured as described in Fig. 1 legend for 24 h (A, C, E) or 48 h (B, D, F). The results are expressed as the percentage of viability (mean ± SD) of MH or pMH-treated cell cultures compared to untreated controls and are representative of two independent experiments. Asterisks denote statistically significant differences in viability between the experimental groups compared to control (*P < 0.05; **P < 0.01; ***P < 0.001; ****P < 0.0001).
