A series of incident neutron energy-dependent melamine sample transmission experiments were performed for samples with decreasing mass. The shaded area, corresponding to the epithermal incident neutron energies, was chosen to calculate the average sample transmission and scattering power values as a function of the sample mass. Additionally, the empty aluminium container transmission curve is shown as a solid black line.
