Co-expression of recombinant hIDS and hSUMF1 in Nicotiana benthamiana. The GB1-CBD1-hIDS and hSUMF1 constructs were co-infiltrated at ratio of 1:1 or 1:4. Total protein extracts (8 µg) from leaf tissues collected at 3, 5 and 7 dpi were separated by SDS-PAGE and stained with CBB (left panel), or analyzed by Western blotting using anti-HA antibody (right panel). Lane M, protein size standard; lane NT, non-transformed leaves; lane 3–5, GB1-CBD1-hIDS co-expressed hSUMF1 with a ratio of 1:1; lane 6–8, GB1-CBD1-hIDS co-expressed hSUMF1 with a ratio of 1:4.
