Representative example for the attractiveness of OPP in choice tests. Pictures of Petri dishes containing either only hydrogel (A) or OPP added on top of the hydrogel (B) after 4 days of exposure to fruit flies in a terrarium where also two red wine grapes were present. In this example, OPP was prepared 3 days before the start of the experiment and 40 D. suzukii individuals were released in the middle of the terrarium at the start of this experiment.
