Mean number of larvae counted in bunches of grapes positioned above the Petri dishes. Two bunches of grapes consisting of 10 berries were positioned above the Petri dishes containing either only hydrogel or hydrogel with OPP. The number of fly larvae were counted after 4 days after the start of the choice experiment. Note that the berries located above the OPP contained a significantly lower number of larvae (paired t-test, p < 0.05, N = 10). 40 D. suzukii individuals were released at the beginning of each experiment in the middle of the terrarium.
