  1. The factor ‘Loading configurations’ is referred to flexion, extension, and lateral bending. The factor ‘Spine conditions’ is referred to intact, laminectomy and posterior fixation. As data for the intact condition were lost for the first 6 specimens, the statistical analysis was based on the remaining six specimens. A p-value < 0.05 was considered statistically significant (*).
