(a) Cell impermeant dye does not cross the cell membrane of CCA cells treated with Pz-DBD compared to cells treated with Triton X-100, a detergent that induces pores in the membrane. (b) F-actin is reorganized in cells treated with plasma. CPP induces actin stress fibers and membrane protrusions in HuCCT-1 but not in EGI-1 cells. In both cells, actin staining is reinforced at the cell membrane upon Pz-CD treatment. White arrows indicate membrane protrusion.
