Comprehensive comparison of the mean grain and stover yields for two distinct outstanding 8-way cross derived lines (S22086RV and S22085RV), their corresponding 2-way and 4-way cross derivatives, as well as their respective founder genotypes. This figure clearly demonstrates the superior performance of the 8-way cross lines, which exhibited significantly higher grain and stover production compared to bi-parent crossing approach and the founder lines.
