The observed relative density was the observed density in traps located in treated site (\(n=35\) traps/collection day), divided by the expected density, i.e., the average observed density in the control site (\(n=20\)). A permutation test was used for these comparisons (9999 permutations), based on random permutations of the year among data blocks defined by the set of traps and each exposure month.
