Subgroup analysis for convergence of hypoactivation in mood disorder patients during implicit emotion regulation.Ā Activation likelihood estimation meta-analysis (nā= 225) showing convergence of hypoactivation in mood disorder patients compared to healthy controls (patients >ācontrols)Ā during implicit emotion regulation. Three cluster regions with five peak coordinates were identified using a cluster-level family-wise error correction threshold of p <Ā .05, with an uncorrected value of p <Ā .001. A rigorous threshold of 5,000 permutations was applied. The first cluster reported a peak coordinate (x =ā4, yā= 38, zā= 26) in the right and left medial frontal gyrus (BA9), extending over the anterior cingulate gyrus (BA32). The second cluster yielded two peak coordinates ([x = ā64, y = ā2, z = ā14] and [x = ā56, y = ā6, z = ā20]) in the left middle temporal gyrus (BA21), extending over the left superior temporal gyrus (BA22). Finally, two peak coordinates ([x = ā26, y = ā34, z = ā18] and [x = ā16, y = ā38, z = ā20]) were reported in the parahippocampal gyrus (BA36, BA35), spreading over the culmen. All locations were reported to be 100% grey matter. MedFGā= medial frontal gyrus; ACGā= anterior cingulate gyrus; MTGā= middle temporal gyrus; STGā= superior temporal gyrus; PHGā= parahippocampal gyrus; CERBā= cerebellum; ALE Scoreā= ALE value.
