Panel (B) is an image of rotationplasty following surgical completion. Panel (C) are anterior to posterior and lateral view post-surgical radiographs. Salvaged femur is measured from the superior aspect of the femoral head (green arrow) to the junction site of the fused femur and tibia (red arrow). Salvaged tibia is measured from the junction site of the fused femur and tibia (red arrow) to the inferior aspect of the tibia (tibial plafond—yellow arrow). Note that when muscles are fused there is not a clear scar line as the ends of each muscle are overlayed.
