The docking scores of tannic acid with Halomonas aquamarina L-GLS (-12.25 kcal/mol) compared to human GLS (-11.26 kcal/mol). The higher binding affinity of tannic acid with bacterial L-GLS suggests its potency as an inhibitor for GLS, mainly targeting cancer cell growth and proliferation.
