Lymphocyte infiltration was observed in the livers of LDLr−/−/MD-1−/− mice and LDLr−/−/MD-1+/− mice. Out of 11 mice in each group, 5 LDLr−/−/MD-1−/− (No. 224, 232, 263, 284, and 297) and 1 LDLr−/−/MD-1+/− mouse (No. 237) showed lymphocyte infiltration in HE-stained liver sections. Left: Low-magnification image (scale bar = 500 μm). Right: High-magnification image (scale bar = 20 µm). The red arrows point to plasma-like cells.
