Dictyostelium development assay in presence of PCBs. Ax4 cells were starved on agar P to initiate the development process. PCB 138 and 153 were added directly into the agar at a concentration of 50 µM. The figure shows representative images at different time points: T5 (5 h), T8 (8 h), T24 (24 h), and T48 (48 h). Images were captured using a digital microscope imager (Celestron) at 10X magnification (scale bar = 1 mm). The panel shown the correspond to the original images obtained.
