Comparative 2D-electrophoresis analysis of Dictyostelium proteome following PCB 138 treatment. Representative 2D gels from untreated (Ax4 vehicle) and PCB 138 treated Dictyostelium cells are shown. Proteins were separated by isoelectric focusing (pH 3–10 NL) and SDS-PAGE, then stained with brilliant blue Coomassie. Proteins of collected gel spots were identified through Maldi-TOF analysis. Red circles represent non-differentially expressed proteins, while blue circles correspond to differentially expressed ones. Green circles are, instead, unsampled protein spots that are in common between the two gels. Uncropped gel images can be found in raw data file.
