Pichia pastoris is a useful expression host. P. pastoris produces the BiTE antibody platform with high productivity, selectivity, and low costs. P. pastoris-produced BiTE antibody (p-blinatumomab) targeting CD19 and CD3ε could be effectively used in research, industry, or clinical settings to treat acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
