Nrf2 mediated the development of TGF-β1 induced fibrosis through ROS. NAC (3 mM) was added 1 h before TGF-β1 (5 ng/mL) to stimulate mMECs for 48 h. In vivo experiments, 100 mg/kg NAC was administered intraperitoneally for 7 days. (A) Determination of ROS content.
