Haplotype network based on the mitochondrial DNA control region of sika deer (Cervus nippon) in the Japanese Archipelago. We analyzed 110 haplotypes (Supplementary Table S1) by combing data from the NCBI registry and this study. Yaku sika deer haplotypes are enclosed in dashed boxes and enlarged Figures are shown in a separate box “a”; Yk01–Yk18 and Kc01 represent the haplotype names in this study, and W represents the sequence (AB218689) from Wada et al.40.
