Detailed analysis on chromosome 9 reveals higher clonal complexity (Patient 2). (A) In depth analysis of CNA on chromosome 9 during serial transplantation suggests a more complex clonal hierarchy with multiple deletions of different size targeting the locus and occurrence of cnLOH. Each box indicates an individual mouse. (B) Phylogenetic tree of leukaemia cells based on SNP-array data obtained at diagnosis and during serial transplantation. Mosaicism of CNA suggested the existence of sub-clones within analysed samples. The presented tree represents the minimum number of diagnostic clones required to explain the mutational landscape identified in the engrafted leukaemias. Minimal clone numbers were calculated by mathematical modelling (see supplementary materials).
