This figure represents the distribution of reported preferences for the sports available for athletes to participate in within the YouFor2032 program. Athletes were asked whether they were ‘absolutely willing to try’, ‘willing to try’, ‘sure/indifferent’, or ‘not willing to try’ the sports available in the program at that time. To interpret this figure, the available sport options for athletes are listed on the left with the preference scale options on the bottom. The darker the colour, the higher proportion of selections for that sport. For example, 37% of selections for Athletics 400 m were ‘absolutely willing to try’ for regional athletes and 39% for SEQ athletes.
