Comparison of annotation quality between the STTORM-CD mask and the CEMS mask for Event ESMR692 on the same date. Due to tight delivery timelines, CEMS products can be coarse and are primarily accurate near flood boundaries, which can lead to a notable number of false positive pixels. Additionally, our annotations include flood-related changes, such as the ocean becoming muddy, reflecting a difference in annotation approaches rather than an error.
